We know a lot of women like beer. We also know that among craft beer drinkers, men vastly outnumber women. Sometimes you just want to have an ale or two and hang out with the girls, but that can be tough when there aren’t any around to talk beer shop with. Ladies, we’ve got just the ticket for you: a new Beer U for women only. Here’s your chance to sample some awesome brews and learn about craft brewing without worrying about the guys. We’ll talk about things like women in the history of beer making, what it’s like as a woman working in the brewing industry, and more. This hands-on learning experience will be led by Stone’s own lady beer geeks: brewers Laura Ulrich and Jessica Gilman, and tour guide-know-it-all Kathryn Bouscaren. We know you’ve probably got a lot on your mind, so we’ll have a Q&A session to wrap things up.
In case you’re wondering if we’re really serious about the “no men allowed” thing: we are. Go fix a sink or something, boys.
In honor of October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, your $20 ticket cost will be donated to a women’s charity. You can get tickets at the Stone Company Store or online here:
