All San Diego County Breweries and Brew Pubs competed in the voting process between February 2 – 24 and fans were encouraged to vote for their favorite brewery. We did try a new format this year that originally launched with story submissions. There wasn’t quite enough of a response with story options so we switched to straight voting.  The stories that were submitted were high quality and those fans are still winners too!

We proudly present the official fan story winners:

- 1^st Place prize – $200 to Best Damn Home Brew Mart – Dave Friedman for his Mother Earth Brew Co story

- 2^nd Place prize – $25 gift cards Hamilton’s Tavern and Small Bar – Omar Passons for his Ballast Point Brewing story

- 3^rd Place prize – $25 to Local Habit – Kevin Bretney for his Hess Brewing Co story
