June is Ruination Nation Month, and so our second Beer Education Class for June celebrates the style of beer that put San Diego craft brewers on the map: the Double IPA. Stone Brewing Co.’s acclaimed head brewer, Mitch Steele, will lead the evening’s presentation, covering the history, brewing methods and the exciting array of interpretations of this decidedly big and bold So Cal classic. With so many hopheads in this town, the 90 minute class, which includes samples and snacks, is expected to sell out. Tickets are available in the Stone Company Store or online for $20.
